Apple & Pear Dip

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and ingredients, mix well.

Core and slice apples and pears. Serve with dip.

Taco Taters

Ingredients

5 large potatoes
1 pound ground beef
1 package of your favorite taco mix powder
1/2 cup green onions
2 tablespoons tomato paste

Garnish

1/2 cup thinly sliced lettuce
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup coarsely chopped tomato
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives

Directions

Bake potatoes at 425ยบ until tender when pierced with a fork.

Fry ground beef until browned and strain. Stir in taco powder, onions and tomato paste. Cook for 5 minutes.

To Serve

Split and fluff hot potatoes. Spoon beef mixture onto each potato. Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and olives.

Orange French Toast

6 slices of day old Italian bread
4 eggs
1 tsp. orange extract
3 tsp. cream
3 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. orange zest
1 tsp. juice from orange

Beat eggs and wet ingredients together. Melt butter over skillet.

Dip bread slices in egg mixture and fry until golden brown.

Delicious with or without maple syrup!

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Ingredients

1 cup flour
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
4 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Mix together liquid ingredients and beat into dry mixture until smooth. Add chocolate chips.

Use one laddle-full per pancake, fry until bubbles form on top and flip.

Serve with warm maple syrup.

Gourmet Grill Cheese

Ingredients

1 Loaf of Italian Bread
Shredded Swiss, Cheddar and Mozzarella Cheese
Olive oil

Directions

Slice bread to desired thickness and using a basting brush, coat both sides of bread. Heat skillet to medium and toast one side until golden brown.

Flip, add cheese and continue frying until bread is golden and cheese has melted.
